AHI Business Network Launches New Online Job/Resume Posting |
The American Hellenic Institute is pleased to announce the launching of its new online internet job bank posting and resume posting service. This service will assist those professionals who are seeking part-time and full-time jobs. In addition, this service offers employers a database to post jobs and search resumes. Those interested can log on to http://www.ahiworld.net/jobs/ to participate in this service. Explaining why we launched the AHI Job Bank/Resume posting service, Nick Larigakis, AHI Executive Director said, "In continuing to explore new ways to best utilize our American Hellenic Institute Business Network program, we felt that this would be a good service that can directly benefit our members and the community. After all, the primary purpose of the Business Network is to connect Greek Americans. We routinely receive inquiries from persons seeking jobs or employers looking for people to hire. We are hopeful that this service will be useful in connecting talented Greek Americans with potential employers and vice a versa. In addition, this has the potential to further strengthen our community." This program is under the auspice of the AHI Business Network, which is a division of AHI initiated in 1989 to reach out to the business experience of Greek Americans and to put it to work helping other Greek Americans. Its purpose is to share business information and contacts. Its concept is people helping people by sharing experience, knowledge and ideas. How it Works Employers and job seekers log on to the AHI website at http://www.ahiworld.net/jobs/ and complete the forms. An AHI staff member will review the information and the next day it will be posted on the website. Employers need to complete the online form to post a position including information on the company contact, job location, job function, description and qualifications and education. AHI Members may post their resumes for FREE and non-members pay $25.00 for a 30-day run. An email confirmation for the posting of the resume will be emailed upon payment either through Paypal, credit card or personal check.
