Ottawa, Ontario. Sunday November 7th, Project Hellas: A Greek Musical Odyssey, a spell binding performance, will be premiering at Centrepointe Theatre. Featuring over 100 of some of Canada’s most talented artists. The show gives a historical account of a 4,000-year-old culture, displayed through the enchanting and infectious music, dance and images of Greece.

Mr. Peter Foustanellas of Olympia Homes and Argos Carpets, is pleased to be a part of this endeavor.. "A tremendous amount of work has gone into this most original performance piece, that has been in the making for the last 4 years. On November 7th^th, we will be celebrating the greatest contributions to history and culture from a country that influenced western civilization – Greece.

The Project’s line up includes: a 30 piece Symphony Orchestra with conductor Laurence Ewashko, the Cantata Singers of Ottawa (40 member choir); the Canadian School of Dance; the Hellenic Community of Ottawa’s Odyssey Dance Troupe, composer Chad Nesrallah. From Montreal; classical pianist Catherine Lagopatis, musical composer Denis Pollatos, writer Dimitrios Trifiatis, soprano Joanna Touliatos, baritone Luc Lalonde,; and the Hellenic Cultural Institute Koryfei, From Toronto, Angelo Tsarouchas and Paradosi Hellenic Dance Company, all under the artistic direction of Bill Sioulas from Ottawa.

An original score by Denis Pollatos, scenery production from Expo-Zone International, the millwork and prop production from KSL Construction, with over 150 costumes, 50 images, a traditional Greek wedding to the shopping agoras of the islands, the audience will be transported back in time and experience Greece and its history.
