Paideia of Maine Announces Scholarships to Metropolis of Boston Summer Camp 2011

Hellenic Society Paideia of Maine will once again sponsor scholarships to the Metropolis of Boston Summer Camp Program in Contoocook, NH. Due to the huge success of our fall dance, we are pleased to accounce that we will offer not just one, but three scholarships this year; one from each of the Portland, Saco, and Lewiston communities. Once again we are asking that interested children write a brief essay (under 100 words) for submission. This year's topic is "What going to church means to me." Winners will be chosen randomly from each community. Past winners are not eligible. Essays can be given to your local priest (who will send it to our attention) or they can be emailed directly to Paul Ureneck, Paideia President, at pureneck@boulos.com .  Essays are due no later than May 28, 2011. For information on the summer camp please visit the Metropolis website: http://www.boston.goarch.org. Thank you and good luck!
