Junior Chorus of Vatoussa, Lesvos Releases CD of Traditional and Contemporary Greek Music

Nearly 30 youths from this charming traditional village sing in an elegantly simple style. The Chorus of Vatoussa was formed in 1999 with the support of the Papoutsy Vatoussa Revitalization Foundation. Since then, under the instruction and guidance of dramatic soprano vocalist Joanna Sfekas Karvelas and pianist Lia Kefala, the group has performed throughout Lesvos and the Aegean.
